I've been super busy recently as I transition from being an exclusive photographer with iStock to being independent with as many agencies as possible in an effort to increase my earnings. What this means is that I've had to dig deep through the depths of my computer and various hard drives to organize, keyword, and re-edit photos in my portfolio. Along the way I've found some great images that have been forgotten over the last year or so that I'd love to share with you.
Last winter I met an amazing couple from Germany: Simone and Sasha. They had saved up money, quit their jobs, and bought an awesome antique firetruck that they repurposed into a roadtripping camper van so they could travel all around Europe. When I met them late at night, we had been on our way to a party in one of the repúblicas, and I had been sans camera. While I made several attempts to reconnect with them during their short stay in Coimbra, unfortunately I was unable to get the opportunity to photograph inside their firetruck. They had renovated the interior into a sleeping and kitchen area, which I would have loved to see. However, I was able to capture the details of the exterior of their roadtripping firetruck which is a really beautiful vehicle.
Most recently I heard from a friend that Sasha and Simone are still on the road and may at some point come back through Portugal again. I'm looking forward to hearing about their adventures and maybe sharing some images from the firetruck's interior!
